Have you noticed how things in Port Douglas have changed of late? Once upon a time, people of this "laid-back" little town, lazing in the tropics, took their time to book for special events.

Not any more!

The Low Isles exhibition, as well as a number of brilliant theatrical productions staged at the Clink Theatre (particularly those by local playright, Jack Heywood) have sold out well in advance, with disappointed patrons being turned away.

Now, we would like to invite you to the gala-cocktail-party-of-the-year at the iconic Sugar Wharf; we would like you to have the best time and to enjoy all that the artistic community can offer.

We would hate to turn you away. So PLEASE book now!

Tickets are ridiculously inexpensive and fantastic value, which is why we hope that you may also be able to donate a small amount to help to cover our considerable expenses.

$30 or $25 for FOF members.

Any surplus funds at the end of the festival will go straight into the Go Troppo Arts Festival fund for 2010 to help this fledgling event grow from strength to strength.

Friends of the Festival discounts

Friends of the Festival "early-bird" specials are only $25 (please show your membership card) and available from Candlenut Gallery in Macrossan Street. Cash only, please.

If you can't get to the gallery you may post your cheque to Go Troppo Arts Festival PO Box 925 Port Douglas 4877, to arrive before September 28, pay by internet banking (see form below) or book online.
