My Journey, a new exhibition by Tania Heben at the Sheraton Mirage, Port Douglas

"My Journey" is a collection of works that reflects the scope of painter, Tania Heben's subject matter over the past twenty years.

Of this work, Tania says "The exotic North has been my constant source of inspiration for over twenty years.

This has been my journey, in which I have "done it my way". This small collection of works re-visits some of the ever-changing and never-changing iconic "man and the landscape" subjects which so intrigue me.

My journey will continue to grow, perhaps in other directions, but I shall be forever enchanted by the special landscapes of the tropical north."

This year Tania has moved her studio inland to the drier savannah country and says that this landscape will be her new challenge.

Tania's exhibition for Go Troppo Arts Festival will be held at the Sheraton Mirage Hotel in Port Douglas.

Ms Diane Cilento will open it at a cocktail party there on Saturday October 3.
